You don’t have to wonder what an experienced entrepreneur would do in your shoes — you can just ask the mentors at SCORE.

SCORE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates in numerous chapters (including SCORE NC Piedmont Triad) across the United States through a vast network of over 10,000 volunteers.

SCORE offers free business mentorship to aspiring entrepreneurs and seasoned small business owners alike. They also host regular webinars — both online and in-person — that feature expert guest speakers from a variety of industries.

Want your business to be easier to find — for the right opportunities?

Start with HUB certification.

The City of Winston-Salem’s M/WBE Division is hosting a HUB Certification Day to help minority- and woman-owned businesses apply for the Statewide Uniform Certification (SWUC).

Getting HUB-certified puts your business on the radar for state contracts, school systems, universities, and local agencies. Certification is free, valid for four years, and gets your business listed in Vendor Link, the state’s go-to database for procurement.
